- Your child is between 2 and 7 years old and having surgery but not staying overnight in the hospital.
- Your family identifies as Latinx and Spanish is the main language at home.
- Your child is generally healthy or has a well-controlled condition like mild asthma.
- Your child is developing normally (no developmental delays).
- Your child is not currently taking strong pain or mood-altering medications.
- Your child does not have cancer or another painful disease.
