Who can take part

  • You need to have been told by your doctor that you need surgery to remove one adrenal gland.
  • You must be willing to sign a form saying you agree to be in the study.
  • You cannot need surgery on both adrenal glands at the same time.
  • The adrenal tumor must be smaller than 12 cm (about 4.7 inches).
  • The tumor should not appear to be a dangerous cancer that is growing into nearby tissues or blood vessels.
