Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled to have surgery to remove part of your liver (liver resection).
- After surgery, the remaining part of your liver is expected to be less than 30% of the normal total liver size.
- You do not have liver cirrhosis (scarring of the liver).
- You are not pregnant, and you are healthy enough to undergo general anesthesia and liver surgery.
- You do not have any allergies or conditions that would prevent you from receiving iodine-based contrast dyes (used in imaging).
