This study tests whether getting a contrast-enhanced mammogram (CEM) every two years is effective for detecting breast cancer in women who have had breast cancer before. If you qualify, you will receive CEM instead of a standard mammogram to see if it helps find cancer earlier.

Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 30 to 79.
- You have had breast cancer in the past.
- At least one year has passed since your breast cancer surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation.
- You are scheduled for a routine annual mammogram with tomosynthesis.
- You have no history of moderate or severe allergic reaction to contrast dye (mild reactions may be allowed with pre-medication).
- You do not have breast implants.
- You have not had both breasts removed (bilateral mastectomy).
- You do not have kidney failure or very poor kidney function.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are not currently on chemotherapy for any cancer.
- You do not have stage 4 cancer that has spread to organs (e.g., liver, lungs, brain).
- You have not had a breast MRI within the last 24 months or a contrast-enhanced mammogram within the last 23 months.
