Testing a new method to find early pancreatic cancer in high-risk people

This study is testing a new imaging method called LINFU® to see if it can find pancreatic cancer early in people who are at higher risk but have no symptoms. If you are at elevated risk for pancreatic cancer and are already getting imaging tests, this study may help improve early detection.

Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 89 years old
  • You must have known risk factors for pancreatic cancer, such as family history or certain genetic conditions
  • You must not have any symptoms of pancreatic cancer
  • You must be scheduled for or have had an imaging test (like an endoscopic ultrasound, MRI, or CT scan) within the past 90 days
  • You cannot have certain medical conditions that would make the LINFU® procedure unsafe, like a bleeding disorder or severe heart or lung problems
  • You must not be pregnant and must be able to give informed consent

Testing an endoscopic treatment for pancreatic cancer that can't be removed

This early-phase trial is testing a new endoscopic (from inside the stomach) approach for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma that is locally advanced and cannot be removed with surgery. It may help some people who have already tried first chemotherapy and still have a tumor confined to the pancreas area (no spread).
