Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 50 to 85.
  • You have been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate (BPH).
  • Your prostate volume is between 30 and 80 cc as seen on an MRI.
  • You have a weak urine flow (Qmax less than 15 ml/s) and moderate to severe symptoms (IPSS score of 8 or higher).
  • You have tried medication for BPH for at least 12 weeks without success, or cannot take such medication, or choose not to.
  • You can understand French or have a caregiver who can help with study materials.
  • You have signed a consent form and are covered by social security.
