  • You are 65 years or older.
  • You are scheduled to have both an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy on the same day.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30.
  • You do not have severe heart, lung, kidney, or liver problems.
  • You have not had low blood pressure, slow heart rate, or low oxygen levels in the past.
