Who can take part

  • You are scheduled to have a urethral bulking procedure (a treatment for urinary leakage).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have not had recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs).
  • You have never had trouble emptying your bladder completely (urinary retention).
  • You are not allergic to multiple antibiotics, and you can take oral antibiotics.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not having other surgeries at the same time.
