Who can take part
- You must live permanently in one of the target villages in Xun County, Henan Province, China.
- You must be between 50 and 69 years old.
- You must not have had an endoscopy (a tube with a camera to check your throat or stomach) in the last 5 years.
- You must never have been diagnosed with cancer.
- You must not have serious health problems like heart disease, breathing trouble, bleeding disorders, or a history of hepatitis or HIV.
