- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix that has spread locally (stages IB3 to IVA).
- You have not had any prior surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy for cervical cancer.
- You are in good general health, with normal blood counts, liver and kidney function.
- You are able to carry out your daily activities (ECOG 0-1) and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
