Dual PET scans for advanced prostate cancer

If you have prostate cancer that has spread (metastatic) and still responds to hormone therapy, the scans may help guide your treatment.

Who can take part
- You are a man 18 years or older
- You have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body but still responds to hormone therapy (called mCSPC)
- Your cancer is either high volume on scans, or low volume with a PSA of 4.0 or higher after 6-8 months of hormone therapy
- You are willing to have two special PET scans (PSMA and FDG) at Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto
- You have not had a PSMA or FDG PET scan in the last 60 days
- You can follow the study procedures and do not have other serious health issues that would interfere
