Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (a common type of pancreatic cancer), and the tumor is in the head, neck, or body of the pancreas.
  • Your cancer is locally advanced (has not spread to other parts of the body) and is either borderline removable or cannot be removed with surgery right now.
  • You are in good overall health (able to carry out daily activities without help, with a life expectancy of at least 3 months).
  • You have not had radiation to the belly, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy (PD-1/PD-L1 drugs) before.
  • Your blood counts, liver and kidney function are within acceptable ranges (your doctor will check these).
