Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer is locally advanced (has not spread to distant organs) and can be surgically removed.
  • Your tumor tests positive for HER2 (a protein that helps cancer grow) at level 2+ or 3+.
  • You have not had any previous chemotherapy or immunotherapy for this cancer.
  • You are in good general health (ECOG score 0 or 1) and your major organs work well.
