Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You should not have any ongoing stomach or gut symptoms (based on standard criteria).
  • If you have diabetes, your blood sugar control must meet certain levels (HbA1c above 7%, fasting blood sugar below 15 mmol/L).
  • You cannot be currently using Ozempic, similar GLP-1 medicines, or regular insulin (in the last 3 months).
  • You cannot have a confirmed diagnosis of gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying).
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must have healthy skin on your upper belly.
