AI Study for Early Preeclampsia Prediction in Pregnancy

This study tests a new artificial intelligence (AI) method that uses multiple types of biological data to predict preeclampsia (a serious pregnancy complication involving high blood pressure) much earlier. It is for women who were once considered high risk for preeclampsia but later found to be low risk, to see if the AI can help detect it even sooner.

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more)
  • Your baby is alive and you are between 11 and 13 weeks of pregnancy
  • You had a first-trimester preeclampsia screening that initially showed high risk, but that risk later became low
  • You do not have HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, and have not used corticosteroids or other immune-suppressing drugs in the past 3 months
