Who can take part

  • You must have cervical cancer confirmed by a biopsy or other pathology test.
  • You are planning to receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy together.
  • You will have a special type of CT scan (called spectral CT) that takes images during two phases: right after contrast dye is injected and a bit later.
  • You must have had a PET/CT scan (using a radioactive tracer called FDG) before starting treatment.
  • You cannot have an allergy to the contrast dye used in CT scans.
  • You must not be pregnant or possibly pregnant.
