Who can take part

  • You have uterine fibroids that need surgery and you are between 18 and 44 years old.
  • You strongly want to keep your uterus and are planning to have a laparoscopic myomectomy.
  • You are willing to join the study and understand the risks and procedures.
  • You do not have more than 3 fibroids, or if you have 4 or more, the largest fibroid must be smaller than 10 cm.
  • You have not had previous surgery in your lower belly or pelvis that caused severe scarring.
  • You do not have an active infection in your reproductive tract, such as vaginitis or pelvic inflammatory disease.
