Who can take part

  • You must have a genetic test showing Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
  • You must be at least 6 years old.
  • Your heart muscle function (GLS) must be below -18%.
  • You cannot have kidney problems, low blood pressure, high potassium, or a narrowed heart valve.
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) must be 50% or above.
