Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with IBS based on the Rome IV criteria (recurrent belly pain for at least 6 months, with symptoms at least 3 days a month for the last 3 months, linked to pooping, changes in how often you go, or changes in stool appearance).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You do not have celiac disease or other organic intestinal diseases, metabolic diseases (like thyroid issues or diabetes), or serious mental health or organ problems.
  • You have not had abdominal surgery.
  • You are not pregnant, may be pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • You have not had a colonoscopy in the past year and you agree to participate.
