EVAR without arterial line monitoring

Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older).
  • You are having a standard EVAR (a procedure to repair an aneurysm) at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre between June 2024 and May 2025.
  • Your procedure will be done through a needle puncture in the groin, not through a surgical cut.
  • You do not have severe aortic stenosis (a heart valve condition) or congestive heart failure.
  • Your blood pressure is below 180/120 on the morning of your surgery.
  • You are not using an Endologix brand graft or have heavily calcified arteries in your groin or pelvis.
