Who can take part

  • You have chronic active EBV or EBV-related high inflammation (HLH) and are eligible for a stem cell transplant
  • You have signs of EBV in your blood, spinal fluid, bone marrow, or on scans before transplant
  • You are 65 years old or younger and are in fairly good health (able to do daily activities)
  • Your heart, kidneys, and liver are working well enough (no severe heart disease, cirrhosis, or active hepatitis)
  • If you have HLH, your condition must have improved at least partially with prior treatment
  • You do not have uncontrolled infections other than EBV, active internal bleeding, or are in another clinical trial
