Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 60 years old
  • You are generally healthy or have only mild medical conditions (ASA class 1 or 2)
  • Your ideal body weight is between 50 and 80 kg (about 110–176 lbs)
  • You have not taken opioid painkillers or sedatives in the past week
  • You do not have hearing problems, heart disease, or liver failure
  • You are not allergic to the drugs remimazolam or remifentanil
