Timing of hormone therapy for advanced prostate cancer

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your prostate cancer is confirmed by a biopsy or other test, and it has spread to other parts of your body.
  • You have not had newer hormone therapy or chemotherapy before.
  • You are generally active and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are normal enough to handle treatment.
