Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove part or all of your pancreas.
  • You do not have a history of seizures, a rash or infection on skin where electrodes would go, or an implanted heart device.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not take strong pain medications (opioids) regularly for a long-term condition.
