Who can take part

  • You need to have a full colonoscopy scheduled.
  • You must not have inflammatory bowel disease (like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis).
  • You cannot have active colitis (inflammation of the colon).
  • You must not have a bleeding disorder (coagulopathy).
  • You cannot have familial polyposis syndrome (a genetic condition causing many polyps).
  • You must be in good general health (not severely ill or in the hospital for an emergency).
