Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 4 and 10 years old.
  • Your child must have a formal diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
  • Your child cannot be taking antibiotics, antifungal medications, or probiotic/prebiotic supplements for at least one month before the study starts.
  • Your child must not have celiac disease or any gluten-related disorder.
  • Your child must not have a dairy allergy.
  • Your child cannot be on any other strict diet besides the one being tested (gluten-free and casein-free).
