Lipiodol before frozen embryo transfer (LIFE)

This trial tests whether giving a small amount of Lipiodol (a special oil used in X-ray dye) before a frozen embryo transfer improves the chance of pregnancy in women undergoing IVF. Who can take part

  • You are a woman undergoing IVF or ICSI treatment.
  • All your embryos will be frozen (day-3 or day-5) and you will have no more than 2 frozen embryos transferred.
  • You are not allergic to iodine.
  • You have no history of fallopian tube problems (like infections, surgeries, or endometriosis) and no evidence of tube issues on tests.
  • You do not have thyroid disease or a history of it, and your TSH level is less than 2.5 mIU/mL.
  • You live permanently in Vietnam and agree to sign a consent form to join the study.
