Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You have been getting regular hemodialysis for at least three months.
  • You have dialysis three times a week, each session lasting four hours.
  • You receive your dialysis at a center (not at home).
  • You have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure) and do not have dialysis for another reason.
