Ribociclib plus hormone therapy for advanced breast cancer

Advanced Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests a new approach: starting with a targeted pill (ribociclib) plus hormone therapy (an aromatase inhibitor), instead of immediate chemotherapy, for women with a specific type of breast cancer (ER low-positive, HER2-negative) that is growing quickly. If eligible, you would not have received any prior treatment for your advanced cancer.

NCT05452213Recruiting· Phase 4
Study patterns of ribociclib response and resistance in breast cancer

This trial looks at how well ribociclib works and why it may stop working over time in people with advanced, hormone-receptor–positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. It also analyzes blood and tissue samples to help researchers understand resistance patterns and improve future treatment decisions.

NCT06587789Recruiting
Ribociclib plus hormone therapy for high-risk breast cancer

This trial tests adding ribociclib (a targeted pill) to standard hormone therapy for people with early but high-risk HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer, after surgery.

NCT07164976Recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Ribociclib for advanced HR+ HER2- breast cancer

This trial tests a new combination of ribociclib and anastrozole as a first treatment for advanced hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that has not been treated before. It may help if you have not received any prior therapy for metastatic disease.

Nagoya
NCT05467891Recruiting· Phase 2
Ribociclib plus hormone therapy for recurrent breast cancer

This trial tests whether adding ribociclib (a targeted pill) to hormone therapy can control breast cancer that has come back in the breast area or nearby lymph nodes/chest wall. It targets hormone-receptor–positive and HER2-negative tumors to help slow disease after local treatment.

Birmingham, Alabama
NCT07400523Recruiting· Phase 3
Ribociclib for breast cancer with leftover disease after chemo

This trial tests ribociclib, a targeted therapy, for women with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer who still have cancer cells in the breast or lymph nodes after initial chemotherapy. It aims to reduce the chance of cancer coming back.

Zhanjiang, Guangdong
NCT05827081Recruiting· Phase 3
Ribociclib plus endocrine therapy for early breast cancer

This trial studies whether adding ribociclib to standard hormone (endocrine) therapy lowers the risk of breast cancer coming back in early-stage, hormone-receptor–positive cancer. It mainly looks at safety and how well the treatment controls cancer after surgery and (sometimes) prior hormone treatment.
