Who can take part
- Your child must have Crohn's disease diagnosed by standard criteria.
- They must have active inflammation in the upper digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, or duodenum) seen on endoscopy and confirmed by biopsy.
- They must be on a stable Crohn's treatment without changes for at least 2 weeks.
- They cannot have taken steroid pills or inhaled steroids in the last 30 days.
- They cannot have taken certain acid-reducing medications (called PPIs) in the last 30 days.
- They cannot have a current active infection or have had one in the last 30 days.
