Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have had type 1 diabetes for at least one year.
- Your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is below 11% in the last six months.
- You currently use insulin injections or an insulin pump and plan to keep using them during the study.
- You already use a continuous glucose monitor.
- You can eat at least 50 grams of carbohydrates per day.
- You have a compatible smartphone to download a sensor app.
- You have not had diabetic ketoacidosis or severe low blood sugar in the last six months.
- You are not taking any other diabetes medications besides insulin (except certain ones stopped over a month ago).
- You have a body mass index (BMI) of 20 or higher.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) is 30 or higher.
