Who can take part

  • Your baby is between 1 month and 24 months old (adjusted for premature birth).
  • They have a confirmed RSV infection diagnosed within the last 36 hours.
  • Symptoms started less than 5 days ago.
  • They weigh at least 2.5 kg (5.5 pounds) and no more than 20 kg (44 pounds).
  • They have a moderate to severe breathing difficulty scored by the doctor.
  • They haven't taken certain antiviral or steroid medicines recently.
