This study aims to understand what financial help is available for people with terminal illnesses and their families. Researchers will interview patients, caregivers, bereaved family members, healthcare workers, and financial service staff to learn what works and what is missing.

Who can take part

  • You must be over age 18.
  • You must be able to understand spoken English or Welsh.
  • If you are a patient, you need a diagnosis of an advanced incurable illness.
  • If you are a bereaved family member, your loved one died 4 to 10 months ago.
  • You or the person you cared for must have received some financial support related to the illness.
