Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher (obese level).
  • You are in generally good health (ASA class I or II).
  • You are having both an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy together, lasting less than 45 minutes.
  • You do not have serious lung, heart, kidney, or liver disease, an active infection, or a bleeding disorder.
