Who can take part
- You must be diagnosed with a pregnancy of unknown location (PUL) and need ongoing blood tests to check your hCG levels.
- You cannot have kidney disease or diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
- You cannot have a history of any cancer or gestational trophoblastic disease.
- If you are a control participant (without PUL), you must not be pregnant and must not have used hormonal birth control in the last 3 months.
- If you have PUL, you must not have a very high initial hCG level (over 100,000 mIU/mL) or signs of a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
