Cancer prevention registry and biorepository study

This study creates a registry of people who have had certain cancer screenings or have conditions linked to cancer risk. Participants donate blood, urine, and cheek swab samples and allow their health records to be followed for five years to help future cancer research.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must be part of a specific cancer screening program in Bryan or Navasota, Texas.
  • You must have had a colonoscopy, lung CT scan, or cervical exam in the last 12 months (or have one scheduled), or have COPD, liver disease, or cervical cell changes.
  • You must be willing to give blood, urine, and cheek swab samples for research.
  • You must be willing to let researchers follow your health for five years and share your deidentified data.
