Who can take part

  • You or your child must be under 18 years old.
  • Must have been stung by a scorpion within the last few hours or days.
  • Symptoms at the time of admission must be classified as grade 1, 2, or 3 (mild to severe, but not the most severe grade 4).
  • No history of heart disease, heart surgery, or abnormal heart tests.
  • No chronic kidney, liver, lung, or nervous system diseases.
  • No chronic inflammatory disease like an autoimmune condition, and no long-term steroid use.
