New imaging to find cancer spread in cervical cancer surgery

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 75 years old.
  • You must have primary cervical cancer at stage I, II, or III (any type).
  • You must be scheduled for a radical hysterectomy (removal of the uterus and surrounding tissues) plus removal of pelvic lymph nodes.
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function must be within safe ranges (your doctor can check).
  • You must not have had any other cancer in the last 5 years, and you must not be pregnant.
  • You must be willing to sign a consent form and follow the study plan.
