Liver tumor detection AI study for cirrhosis patients

This trial tests an AI tool to find and classify liver tumors in people with cirrhosis or extrahepatic cancer who've had a non-contrast CT scan. You may join if you have cirrhosis or a cancer outside the liver, but not if you already have a malignant liver tumor or have had a liver transplant.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have had a CT scan of your chest or belly that didn't use a contrast dye (non-contrast), and it covered your liver
  • You have been diagnosed with cirrhosis (scarring of the liver)
  • Or you have been diagnosed with a cancer that started outside your liver
  • You do not have a malignant (cancerous) liver tumor already diagnosed
  • You have not had a liver transplant, and your CT scan is of good quality without major artifacts or noise
