Who can take part

  • You are a man between 21 and 60 years old.
  • You have a severe sperm problem (very low count, poor movement, or high DNA damage) that has lasted at least 12 months.
  • You and your partner have been unable to get pregnant for at least 12 months, even with treatments like IVF, or you have decided not to use those treatments.
  • You are willing to use two birth control methods (including a condom) until at least 1 month after the study ends.
  • You do not have genetic causes of infertility, blocked sperm ducts, active infections, recent heart problems, cancer, or other serious health conditions listed in the study rules.
