Who can take part
- You are scheduled for a modified radical mastectomy (a type of breast cancer surgery that removes the whole breast and some lymph nodes).
- Your general health is good to fair (classified as ASA I or II by your anesthesiologist).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 30.
- You have no known allergy to numbing medicines (local anesthetics).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or low platelet count, and you are not taking blood-thinning medications.
- You are able to give your informed consent (understand and agree to participate) and do not have severe neurological or psychiatric disorders.
