Who can take part

  • You must be an adult (18 years or older) to take part.
  • If you are an organ donor, you must be brain dead and in intensive care at Strasbourg University Hospital.
  • Your kidneys must be transplanted to a patient at Strasbourg University Hospital.
  • As a kidney recipient, you must have received a kidney from a brain-dead donor at Strasbourg University Hospital.
  • You (or your legal representative) cannot have said no to your data being used for research.
  • You cannot have received a kidney from a living donor or a donor who died from a cause other than brain death.
