Who can take part

  • Your kidney tumor is stage T1 (early-stage and small), confirmed by imaging scans.
  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You have no history of severe kidney disease or autoimmune disorders.
  • Your heart and lungs are healthy enough for a major abdominal surgery.
  • You are generally active and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You are willing to have the robotic surgery without clamping the kidney artery and can give informed consent.
