- You are between 7 and 12 years old
- You have a burn injury that needs dressing changes at the clinic
- Your burn is second-degree (partial thickness) and covers at most 10% of your body
- You would not normally get pain medicine for the dressing change in regular care

- You have no other injuries that cause pain besides the burn
- You can see, communicate, and use a kaleidoscope (no face or both-hand burns preventing that)
