  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with functional constipation using the Rome IV criteria.
  • You have not been in a similar study in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have a history of colon cancer, celiac disease, or inflammatory bowel disease.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant soon.
  • You are not taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety drugs, or other psychotropic medications.
