Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have bile duct or gallbladder cancer that is advanced or has spread, and it must be confirmed by a biopsy.
- You cannot have had any previous treatment for advanced or metastatic cancer, OR your cancer came back at least 6 months after surgery or after finishing adjuvant therapy.
- You must be able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan or MRI.
- Your vital organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys) must be working reasonably well.
