Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are in good general health (ASA I, II, or III).
  • You are having septorhinoplasty (nose surgery for breathing and shape) under general anesthesia for the first time.
  • You are awake and able to rate your pain after surgery.
  • You haven't been taking strong painkillers regularly before surgery.
  • You don't have any brain, nerve, or muscle disease that affects communication.
