Who can take part
- You are a patient in the VA healthcare system.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) and have not had any treatment for it yet.
- Your liver cancer is at stage BCLC B or BCLC C (moderate to advanced).
- You do not have severe kidney problems or a contrast allergy that would prevent you from getting a standard CT or MRI scan.
- You have not had any other active cancer (except non-melanoma skin cancer) in the past 3 years.
