Who can take part

  • You must have newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (within the last few months).
  • You must be 70 or younger (for one group) or 80 or younger (for other groups).
  • Your cancer must be measurable by a blood or urine test (M-spike, free light chains).
  • You must be well enough to receive a standard four-drug combination (VRd) as part of your treatment plan.
  • Your kidneys, liver, heart, and lungs must be working well enough to handle the treatment.
