- You are scheduled for a saline infusion sonogram to look at your uterine cavity and fallopian tubes at Montefiore's fertility center.
- You have taken 600–800 mg of ibuprofen between 30 minutes and 4 hours before the procedure.
- You can understand and sign a consent form in English or Spanish.
- You are not allergic to lidocaine.
- You have not taken misoprostol in the 24 hours before the procedure.
